Mission Statement

The purpose of the Texas GMRS Network is to promote the use and development of the General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) and promote a natural interest in radio communications with the community, thereby improving public well-being, safety, and emergency preparedness.

Please join us at the Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve, 20215 Chasewood Park Dr, Houston, TX 77070 on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for the semi-annual Houston area Texas GMRS meet-up. This is a pot-luck lunch so please bring your favorite food to share. This is open to the public. If you do not have a GMRS license you are still welcome to join us. The meet-up is being hosted in conjunction with the Southeast Texas Amateur Club (SETAC). So, this is a great opportunity to meet and ask questions if you do not have you HAM license.
